Story Swap May 6, 2026. Erran Sharpe stories of enchantment, blessings, and curses
Erran Sharpe
Erran says, “I love the timeless qualities of folk tales. These tales are about universal human themes and challenges. They contain wisdom and puzzles that stick with me, and sometimes pop into memory months or years later when I encounter a life situation that relates to the story. There are many stories in which an enchantment, a curse, or a blessing affects a character. Similarly, in real life, a person’s words or attitude can have a lasting impact on someone else.”
Erran has been an active member of the Story People of Clallam County for many years, he says, “I have an illustrious storytelling career that has included a performance in Port Townsend and another in Seattle. Now if I can just get a performance in Victoria I will become an INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN storyteller!”

Opening teller – Emma Amiad
Emma says, “I’ve been a public speaker of one kind or another since childhood. It’s a great way to connect with others and share the tears, joys and humor of life. I’m still new to storytelling but it is great fun.” She’s also very modest, she’s been telling fabulous stories at Story Slams for several years, and most recently at the Liars Contest.
