John Bertholl featured Wed. March 4, 2026
Our featured teller is John Bertholl who grew up in Juneau, Alaska, and tonight he’s telling stories from a very special year—1952. Sit back, have a laugh, and don’t be surprised if some old memories sneak out and join us.

Opening teller, Mitch Nelson
You never know what he’s up to! All the way from a dirt road in Wyoming, Mitch Nelson travels the Northwest finding, living through, and sharing stories wherever he goes. He’s been known to sing, dance, and play music and loves to make people laugh.

Open Mic
Following the featured teller we will have a short intermission. Open mic will take place in the second half of the evening. During the open mic, audience members are welcome to share a story of up to 10 minutes length. Stories from the open mic can be candidates for selection to be an opening story for a future featured teller. Anyone interested in telling a story is strongly encouraged to develop it and practice it at the monthly Story Work session on Zoom — find more information on our Facebook page. Guidelines for storytellers can be found by clicking here.
