Storytelling Festival

Forest Storytelling Festival, October 14-16, 2016

Welcome to the 22nd Annual Forest Storytelling Festival in Port Angeles, WA! World class storytellers will make you laugh uproariously and will tug at your heartstrings. Everyone from pre-teens to grandparents will be enchanted by stories from ages past and contemporary personal stories.

There is a special pre-festival workshop with Bil Lepp.

This is a multicultural storytelling event. It is held at the Little Theater of Peninsula College in Port Angeles. We feature professional storytellers from our region and across the country. They share stories and lead workshops in the art of storytelling. It is a warm, welcoming gathering of audience and tellers.

There are two story swaps Saturday after lunch for attendees to get in on the storytelling action and share your own stories. A festival store sells books, recordings, and other resources for storytelling. A silent auction and raffle offer other goods you can take home.

Buy tickets at the door, or go to Registration Information page for ticket prices. Friday and Saturday night concert tickets are also available at Odyssey Books, 114 W. Front St., Port Angeles.

Accommodations are readily available in Port Angeles. Several hotels offer discounted rates for festival attendees.
